One of the most common noninvasive fat removing procedures is Coolsculpting. We all have a set amount of fat cells, as we gain weight our fat cells expand which cause those stubborn pockets of fat to show up despite our diet and exercise efforts. Previously the only way to completely eliminate those fat cells was through liposuction surgery. Now we have more options out there that will do the same without the downtime and without going under the knife. Coolsculpting is the most popular procedure for body sculpting in our medspa. Both of these procedures send your stubborn fat cells into apoptosis, which is a fancy name for cellular death. Ultimately removing those cells and getting rid of that stubborn fat!

Coolsculpting uses cryolipolysis to send fat cells into apoptosis which means it uses extreme cold to freeze fat cells and it sends those cells into apoptosis.

Those dead fat cells take an average of 3 months to pass through your lymphatic system to see your full results. Full procedure results are based on the individual and involve many factors: metabolic rate, initial bulk fat, healthy eating habits, regular physical activity. It is important for our practice to stress to our patients that although this treatment is a great way to start off your weight loss journey or a great addition to get rid of stubborn of fat, we recommend to keep eating clean and exercising regularly to achieve your goal weight.
